How Water Soluble CBD Works
Water-soluble CBD is a type of CBD that can dissolve in water. Most CBD products are fat soluble, meaning they require fat in order to dissolve and be transported throughout your body (and by extension, render effects).
Water soluble is made by enclosing nanoparticles of cannabinoids in small shells, which can be suspended in water — normally, CBD is in oil form, and therefore can’t be mixed with water. These little shells of CBD can then be circulated throughout your body and begin rendering effects.
Water-soluble CBD is roughly 4.5 times more bioavailable — meaning, your body can use 4.5x more of the CBD you consume — than non-water-soluble CBD.
